Solid experience, good quality

I ordered a few perennial vegetables and some fruit tree saplings. The ordering process on the website was straightforward. I received an email confirmation right away and then a shipping notification with tracking a couple of days later. The plants took about 5 days to reach me in Orlando, which was reasonable. Everything was packaged really well, individual plants were secured, and the soil was still moist. I did have a question about one of the fruit trees, so I used their contact form and got a helpful reply within a day. The quality of the plants seems good, no signs of stress or pests. I've planted them out and they seem to be settling in nicely. Would order again.

Pretty good actually. Got some herb starts from them a few months ago and they came in these little trays, well-protected. Minimal soil spillage, plants looked happy.

Mine arrived okay too. They use pretty sturdy boxes and try to keep them from flopping around. Not perfect, but definitely better than some other places I've ordered from.

Wondering about their return policy for live plants. What if something arrives looking dead or super stressed?

Returns on live plants can be tricky with any nursery, but Whitwam's is pretty reasonable. If it's dead on arrival, you need to contact them fast, usually within 24-48 hours with pics. They'll probably offer a replacement or credit.

Yeah, I had a sad looking basil plant once. Took a pic, sent it to their customer service, and they sent a new one. Their policy is usually in the FAQ section.

I've never been able to stack codes there. Usually, it's one discount per order. Most sites are like that these days.

Nope, pretty sure it's just one code at a time. The system usually only lets you apply one, then overrides any previous ones if you try another. Pick the better discount!

Baker Creek is great for variety, but Whitwam's prices for individual seed packets are often pretty competitive, especially if you catch a sale. For seedlings, Whitwam's is usually better if you're local or want smaller quantities shipped.

They do, but sometimes certain plants are only available for local pickup. Read the product description carefully for what you're buying. Most of their small seedlings go out for shipping though.
